Our firm is a specialized, design based practice, allowing us to give each project the attention it deserves. Our portfolio includes custom and high end residential, and interiors projects. The core of our work is modern residential architecture. Quality of materials, and workmanship are key to each of our homes regardless of scale.
Our goal is to create architecture appropriate to the times in which we now live and will live. Inspiration is drawn from modern architecture of the last century. Honesty of materials, clarity of form, and appreciation of natural light are key to each design. Our hope is that the architecture we are creating today will be appreciated by many generations.
BIO
Cliff Welch is a Dallas Architect whose work has been honored at the local and national levels. Before founding WELCH Architecture, he was a principal at Design International. Through out his career, he has the honor to work with many well-known architects including the late Dallas modernist Bud Oglesby. He has been a leading resource and proponent for custom modern homes across the United States for over 25 years. Cliff’s designs have been recognized with over 30 awards and numerous publications.
Cliff creates timeless architecture. His work evokes a richness of detail, materiality, craftsmanship and artful composition, elevating awareness and appreciation for design. Rooted in classic modernism, his work gracefully balances vitality with restraint. His architecture provides warmth and intimacy.
In 2020 Cliff was elevated to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows, the most distinguished honor reserved for fewer than 3% of all American Architects.
