Working within the palette of existing antique brick, natural pine, glass, and steel we completely gutted the interior.  A glass connection to the garage and a rooftop terrace overlooking the downtown skyline expanded the living space. The master bath has a tub that waterfalls over the edge into a bed of black river rock, sitting on a raised Ipe plinth, adjacent to an open shower, both along a wall of photovoltaic glass, where the flip of a switch can give one complete privacy, or open the bathroom to the trees and skyline beyond.
